Good Spell Studio is home to the otherworldly workings of Gabrielle Moritz. An astrologer, artist, and author, she has been studying the stars for a decade and a half, and she can’t seem to quit. Her style of astrology is a blend of traditional and modern techniques, all focused on meaningfully collaborating with time. Using astrology to help folks navigate and understand the seasons that they’re in, her offerings that every second is a good spell for something.

And beyond writing and consulting, she is well known for bringing astrology to life with her vibrant collage art and illustrations too. Studied in Art & Design, Gabrielle has made spellbinding work for astrologer and NYT Best Selling author Chani Nicholas, for the Portland-based ritual candle maker Magic Hour Candles, for The Wild Unknown seekers, and alongside various other collaborators. Her art celebrates the weird, wild, and beautiful strangeness of all things (esoteric or otherwise) and holds a magic all its own.
